Commercial Doors & Sliders

Automated Sliders: The incorporation of automated sliding doors into façades, entryways or for internal security is an effective way of providing a glazed, hygienic, automated entry. Whether activated by sensor or card access, these doors are a reliable solution. Thermosash procure high quality and reliable equipment and work closely with our suppliers to ensure the right solution is delivered, including emergency exit requirements and integration with other activation equipment. Integrating the structural solution into the curtainwall is a possibility, thus minimising the need for additional structure.

Frameless Glass Doors: Toughened glass doors have a long history and a range of available fittings and closers which have evolved for these “frameless doors”, as they are known. However, they are not always frameless as they often contain door rails and can have edge sections as seals.

Heavy Duty Sliders: Offer increased Architectural opportunity. Thermosash suite sections allow for large sliders, single or multiple stacking. These are commonly specified where vehicle or over height access is required into a building for example car sales yards and convention centres. The hardware systems that Thermosash allows for offers easy sliding or integration of automated door opening gear where required and high loading / trafficability over the sliding tracks.

Maintenance

Maintaining glass, metals and stone are all particular to the environment that they are placed in e.g. marine, environmental pollution, exposure to natural washing, etc.

It is recommended by almost all material suppliers that building washing should occur every 3-6 months to prevent staining to glass and prevent environmental pollutants from corroding metals and to maintain the material warranties.

A full maintenance manual is provided on completion of a project for all the elements integrated within a project. Compliance to a maintenance schedule is essential to maintaining the quality of the installed product over time. Using Thermosash-approved facade maintenance contractor/personnel ensures the highest standards are met.
