Designed for a broad variety of uses both vertically and horizontally EGGER Compact Laminate is made from a multi-layer composition of black kraft paper which is infused with a water-based melamine resin. The decorative surface papers are then fused together to form a single panel and as a result produces a unique, smooth black edge which aids in a striking design finish with no need for edging. Visually appealing, the inner black core can stand as a design feature for accents in furniture and interior design.

The beauty of this process gives EGGER Compact laminate greater strength and rigidity thanks to its internal kraft paper layers providing extra thickness to create a self-supporting solid panel.
