Modern Family Room

This family room blends style, functionality, and warmth, creating a space for everyday living and entertaining. The sleek bar area features an integrated bar fridge and the upper cabinetry is wrapped in Florim Stone Calacatta B porcelain, with a book-matched pattern that continues from the doors to the splashback. Blum Aventos lift-up doors keep the look streamlined while offering easy access. Cabinetry in Melteca Parisian Oak adds a soft, natural tone, complemented by negative detail handles. A custom on-bench sliding door cleverly hides a workspace, framed with thicker panels for a built-in look . LED strips from Fit and Stefano Orlati illuminate the area as needed. A custom bench seat provides hidden storage, with a floating shelf above for balance and display. The brief was to create a family room that doubles as a workspace—light, calm, and functional, with clever storage and playful design touches. We think this space fits the brief perfectly, resulting in a truly beautiful and practical family room. Designed, manufactured and Installed by: Fluid Interiors Fluid Interiors Designer: Emma Gamble
