Completed 2016

Alteration & addition to an existing Mount Eden villa located in the residential 5 zone.  This project involved the replacement of an existing rear addition which was poorly laid out with a new open plan kitchen and dining space with generous connections to a north-facing deck.  A bathroom, laundry and separate sitting room complete the new addition, which was kept in a traditional villa style on the exterior, including a new rear entry porch.

Alterations to the existing villa gave improved internal access to the original grand living room, and a new ensuite and walk-through wardrobe feature in the main bedroom suite.

The clean lines of the rich timber veneered cabinetry in the kitchen & crisp white cabinetry of the laundry & wardrobes contrast the more traditional pressed metal ceilings & trim of the villa’s interior, with the bathrooms adding a modern aesthetic to the house.
