Overlooking Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens, Botanical House transforms a South Yarra heritage home into a richly layered expression of its owners’ love of travel, literature, and entertaining.
Overlooking Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens, Botanical House transforms a South Yarra heritage home into a richly layered expression of its owners’ love of travel, literature, and entertaining.
Featured in the recent issue of Belle Magazine Australia, Smart Spaces: Design with Intelligence.
Led by Mim Design founder and principal Miriam Fanning, the home brings a contemporary sensibility into dialogue with the heritage bones of a 1920s home.
“Each room has its own personality, with an element of transportation to other places. The clients were captivated by the idea of an ‘outfit change’ for every room, reflecting their eclectic tastes.”
— Miriam Fanning, founder and principal, Mim Design
