Budge Over Dover

"Exploring tactile possibilities across all manner of surfaces and feature elements gives this Sydney home its striking presence with a point of interest at every turn." - Dimity Noble, Vogue Living AU "The exquisite palette of materials, colours, textures, and accents uniquely responds to the client’s brief without relying on a conventional vernacular and the result is completely unexpected, while still being restrained and elegant. A sculptural aesthetic defines the overall scheme and there’s also a clear relationship to the exterior, resulting in seamless integration between inside and out." - Judges, Australia Interior Design Award "It’s a home that could be located in any country. It’s very cosmopolitan which reflects Australia today… it feels like a future icon." - Lucy Feagins, The Design Files Project: Budge Over Dover Materials Used: Hemp Render, Travertine, Moroccan Terracotta, Goat's Hair, Eggplant and Pistachio Venetian Plaster Year: 2020 Location: Dover Heights, Sydney Square Meters: 825 Awards: The Design Files Awards 2020 Winner – Residential Design Australian Interior Design Awards 2020 Winner – Residential Design Australian Interior Design Awards 2020 Winner – Residential Decoration Australian Interior Design Awards 2020 Winner – Best of State Nsw Residential Design Dulux Colour Awards 2020 Shortlisted – Best Use of Colour Stylist: Felicity Ng Photography: Prue Roscoe
