SGKS ARCH was approached to assist with a community-focused re-activation of a heritage site of significance, working with varied stakeholders in creating a unique collaboration of use and activation. The fine texture and patterning of the sun shading is created through the layering of various images of the beloved building and Carlton itself, speaking to the complexities of collective memory and how, through community, it imbues itself into our built environment.
