Chifley Tower, Sydney CBD banner

Chifley Tower is a landmark high-rise office tower in a prime location in the city of Sydney, completed between 1988 and 1993, and to budget of $425 million. Chifley Tower is built with a complex steel-frame structure and uses predominantly quality materials of granite and marble.  It is recognisable as a building exuding luxury and opulence with a grand lobby and stunning views over Sydney Harbour.

Nigel Dickson was the project architect, working with Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates in association with Travis Partners, Sydney and New York. Nigel was involved from the conceptual phase through to completion, including completing urban design guidelines, design studies, development application, documentation, and design of retail areas.

As a commercial building it provides 68,800 sqm of lettable area, with over 5,000 sqm of prime CBD retail across lower ground, upper ground and first floor. It continues to attract blue-chip tenants, twenty-five years since opening, including UBS, Investec, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp, and Morgan Stanley Australia.
