Hereford Street Digital Billboard

The corner of Hereford Street and Colombo Street is perpetually busy, populated by busy office workers during the day and hungry Cantabrians at night. This site, due to its busy nature, makes it an ideal location for a digital billboard with high viewership.
A variety of concept designs for the billboard and engagement sites on the corner were developed, from a container cafe to a green wall. DCM Urban Design also prepared an Urban Design and Visual Impact Assessment to determine the impact of the digital billboard on the surrounding areas. A number of different perspectives were simulated to observe this effect.
