The iconic heritage Hotel Steyne in Manly underwent a detailed renovation and refurbishment of its pub and accommodation facilities starting in mid 2020. This included refurbishments across all 4 levels of the establishment.
The basement was completely fitted out with additional new keg rooms while the ground floor had total renovations of a new VIP gaming room, sports bar, bistro and outdoor beer garden. Their first floor received a complete demolition and reconstruction of 42 new hotel rooms, staff office space, amenities and store and cool rooms. The top level had refurbs to 2 bars, 2 sets of amenities, the construction of a new terrace and a complete upgrade of the facade.
Calida ensured the heritage renovation of the facade to ensure maintenance of the original appearance, including over 4,00 custom manufactured tiles to match the existing building. A new awning and repointing of brickwork were also involved.
