This site, sitting high above Lake Rotoroa was a complete redevelopment, where the existing dwelling was removed and three high quality townhouses were designed and built, all with views of the lake. The trick with this project was finding a happy balance of amenity space – between what the District Plan says we need and what the occupiers actually want.
This type of ‘negotiation’ is becoming more and more prevalent with infill and redevelopment projects, regardless of the housing marking which the development is aimed at.
