Seventy years after her parents built the beloved waterfront home, our client entrusted us to sensitively enhance this cherished place. The original living room framed mountain and river views, but only the small kitchen and bathroom faced north. By drawing a north-facing courtyard into the heart, we created a shallower plan, seamlessly linking kitchen and living with natural light. Patched myrtle floors, double-glazed timber windows, and carefully chosen joinery honour the home’s story—sunlit, warm, and unmistakably familiar.
