Complex construction on a steep site featuring a visually connected pool and boat-like surrounding decks, crafted with refined finishes and sandstone to harmonize with the natural headland and surrounding boulders.
This property is on a very precipitous site so the build was very complex. Everything had to be done by hand. The intent with the pool was to connect it to the ocean visually The surrounding decks decks were built the same as the deck of a boat. This enhances the feel of being close to the ocean and connected to the water. It is also a beautifully refined finish, that feels magnificent underfoot. The sandstone was selected to sympathetically nestle it into the natural headland and connect it to some of the surrounding boulders
