Brcar Morony Architecture were approached post Development Application approval to undertake the design detailing and delivery of the approved works. The project involves demolition of the existing structure to the rear of the property and replacing it with a new first floor addition containing a master bedroom, ensuite and robe. The first floor addition is accessed via a plate steel stair inserted within a new void over a new dining room.

Brcar Morony administered a lump sum contract (ABIC SW-2008 H NSW) over a 6 month time period.

Project completed in April 2017.

About the
Professional

Natalie Brcar and Michael Morony cofounded Brcar Morony Architecture in 2015.

Natalie and Michael first met in 1999 at the University of Technology Sydney where they commenced the first of their two degrees in Architecture. Throughout their six years of university studies they had the opportunity to work together on numerous occasions. This joint study, shared interests and mutually agreeable beliefs and thoughts on design was the beginning of a collaborative partnership.

Now in our eighth year of operation, Brcar Morony Architecture is a young energetic architectural practice with a friendly easy going attitude. We are down to earth architects who are pragmatic planners of spaces and volume. We are design focused and concept driven. Our design thinking and process to deliver architecture is under pinned with dedication and focus, strong collaboration with the client’s brief and expectations and working with the project site constraints and opportunites. We accompany our design thinking with a selection of materials that are fit for purpose, chosen for their warmth, texture, durability and aesthetics.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
