Riverhead School upgrade featuring innovative learning environments and enhanced outdoor facilities, designed to accommodate the growing student population in Riverhead, Auckland.
Located in the rural suburb of Riverhead, just north of Auckland City is a school consisting of approximately 470 students that required an upgrade in a number of classrooms to keep up with the huge growth in the area, with the building of new homes. Ministry of Education contracted Stryde Projects to execute this project which consisted of constructing the new classroom and admin block alongside the existing building, we were able to add three huge innovative learning environments and new admin for the school.
Once the school were moved into their new learning space, we were able to demolish the existing building and improve the outdoor facilities for the school including play area for the students and new carpark for the staff.
