Silverstream Estates Medium Density Design Guide

A design guide was prepared for both Silverstream Estates and Waimakariri District Council as a method for ensuring good design principles were adopted for high density residential development in Silverstream Estates, Kaiapoi West. The overall development had been approved subject to each medium density development being treated as a comprehensive development plan, with Council retaining full discretion on all facets of the design. To assist both parties, we were appointed to develop a set of design principles which could apply to the residents to improve variation and amenity while still providing a degree of unity.
