ABOUT THE PROJECT

Beryl Street House provides a distinctive living experience for its occupants, maximising connection to the natural environment, both within and outside of the site. A unique pavilion style home, beryl house maximises natural light, ventilation and takes full advantage of its picturesque location perched high above Lake Macquarie.

This split level design creates varied summer and winter living spaces that provide visual and physical linkages throughout the home. The planning strategy adapts to the slope of the site, whilst ensuring that each living space is clearly defined yet connected within the home and to the landscape.

The integration of landscaped courtyards enhance the feeling of space and provide internal vistas from all rooms both on the ground and first floor. A large first floor deck and dining area provides 180 degree lake views, whilst the master suite ‘pavilion’ creates privacy and seclusion.

About the
Professional

As a team of architects, designers and project managers with local knowledge and international experience, we are constantly putting our skills to the test to create outstanding design solutions for our clients across the multi-residential, workplace, education, health, retail, community, residential, industrial and hospitality sectors.

Architecture is expressive, innovative and creative, but it’s also about solving problems and overcoming limits. Our team challenge the status quo, elevate clients’ missions, and seek to measurably improve lives and communities.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
