TVNZ needed to improve the acoustics in their office boardroom. The space featured multiple hard surfaces that caused excessive reverberation, making it difficult for teams to communicate clearly during meetings. Goals Improve speech clarity during meetings Reduce reverberation time (RT) to meet national standard Create a balanced, productive environment Challenges → Numerous hard surfaces including chairs, table, walls → Integrate acoustic products into the room’s existing aesthetic Let’s Talk Solution Following a detailed Acoustic Appraisal, we installed acoustic blankets along with custom acoustic panels, including Autex Groove and Autex Cube. These treatments absorb excess sound and help control reverberation across the room. The space now feels noticeably calmer and easier to use, with clearer conversations and meetings that flow more naturally. It’s a boardroom better suited to focused discussions and day-to-day collaboration.
