Alkira

Nestled just moments away from the sandy shores of Alexandra Headlands, this Reitsma-designed gem offers a unique blend of functionality and artistic charm. Situated on a cozy, postage stamp-sized block, this allotment defies its compact dimensions to achieve so much more. Drawing inspiration from the coastal surroundings, the design embraces a minimal palette, incorporating concrete block, glass, and aluminium. The interior co-exists in harmony with the exterior, inviting residents and visitors alike, yet, within this seamless connection lies a captivating element of surprise. From the outside, the building emanates a sense of raw, unfiltered honesty, giving no hint of the interior qualities that await within. Step inside, and you will be greeted by a space that contrasts the minimal exterior with bursts of vibrant art, luxurious fabrics, and inviting, warm timbers. Ideal for a family seeking a multi-use haven or a holiday retreat, the open-style robing creates versatility and ease of living. Privacy is paramount, thoughtfully achieved through an innovative alternating L-profile batten screen that gracefully dances with the breeze as you pass by. The clever play on vertical volumes enhances the small footprint, ingeniously maximizing every inch of space. And that's not all – an exciting addition to this masterpiece is the rooftop platform, offering breathtaking northward views, allowing you to indulge in the coastal beauty that surrounds you. Embrace the serenity, embrace the style, and immerse yourself in the ultimate coastal living experience at Alkira.
