By Vincent Chrisp & Partners
Braybrook has for many years remained one of the most disadvantaged suburbs in Victoria, and is characterised by low literacy and poor English language skills, low education attainment and high levels of unemployment.
Our design for the Braybrook Community Library targeted these areas of disadvantage by providing a place that fosters social inclusion and participation regardless of age, gender, ability or cultural group. The result is a crafted building that feels welcoming to all and safe after hours, and from subsequent feedback, a high-quality facility that the local community feels very proud of.
Since 1993, our creativity, expertise and experience have helped shape Victoria’s urban landscapes.
You’ll see our designs in healthcare, justice, education, science and many other industries throughout the state. That’s because at Vincent Chrisp Architects we know how to engage with our clients and design around their particular needs. Each project is different. Each design is unique.
What doesn’t change is our commitment to guiding our clients through the entire process, from idea to opening day.
