Client and Architect agreed, The Courtyard Cottage was just right for this block. Consciously understated, the form shows a controlled contemporary response to the workers cottage and the building form is broken into three obvious forms being the master suite/services, kitchen living dining & rumpus/kids area. All of which have a connection to the natural environment and orientated in such a way to offer an interesting experience that unfolds as you explore inside. Glazing locations have been deliberately restrained to enhance this, contributing to a thoughtful, responsive and engaging experience.
