Deakin Canopy features a striking soffit lining with timber look battening inspired by the local rivers, creating a visually engaging entryway that invites users to dream and imagine, embodying the essence of a university space in Warrnambool, Victoria.
Warrnambool is a town set between two rivers on the South-West coast of Victoria.
The canopy creates interest in the soffit lining with timber look battening in a ‘river’ concept.
This decorative ceiling forms a visual activity above the users head as they approach the building’s entry, encouraging them for a moment to dream and imagine, a primary objective of any university space.
