Revitalization of Hutt Baptist Church: Transforming a former cinema into a modern urban identity with a welcoming façade and enhanced community presence in the heart of Lower Hutt.
The Hutt City Baptist now have an urban identity with a welcoming interaction with the city around them.
In recent year the Hutt City Baptist church made their home from a former cinema complex in the CBD of Lower Hutt. The tired early-1990’s façade was outdated and had outlived its serviceable life. We had the pleasure of providing the church with a new lease of life and a chance to present their own identity to the city.
A fresh modern approach to the façade replacement and the creation of a new entry has added a new lease of life to the centre of High Street while providing the church with a presence they proudly call their own. The Hutt City Baptist now have an urban identity with a welcoming interaction with the city around them.
“We had the pleasure of providing the church with a new lease of life and a chance to present their own identity to the city.”
