A contemporary restoration of a mid-1900's Californian Bungalow in East Malvern, featuring a family-friendly addition, updated facade, and luxurious interior finishes, completed in 2016 for clients George and Barbara.

This mid-1900's Californian Bungalow, nestled in the leafy suburbs of East Malvern, had a full restoration and renovation to cater for the lifestyle of its growing family.

The tired facade was brought back to life by updating the colour palette and repointing the exposed brickwork.  The old lean-to extension was demolished to make way for a family-friendly addition that compliments the existing residence through the use of roughcast render, terracotta roof tiles and timber-framed windows and doors. Inside, the inclusion of herringbone oak floorboards, marble, high-end fittings and finishes along with the restored period features give the home a feeling of warmth and sophistication. The immaculately landscaped surroundings complete this accomplished family home.

“Could not be happier with our new home. The project ran smoothly with help whenever needed from Lenny Sacco at Raw Drafting. The Design is just stunning with so many compliments from locals and visitors. Looking back there is nothing I would change and we have been living here for over 2 years now. Thank you Lenny for your great design and your professionalism.”
