The Day Procedures Centre was designed and built as a new extension adjoining the existing Theatres Unit at Sandringham Hospital. With direct public entry, the centre is able to streamline patient intake flow with a mix of individual interview spaces and gowned waiting bays, each with greenery courtyard views. The project involved provision of 8-bed second-stage, and 5-chair third-stage recovery areas with associated clinical spaces and adjunct theatres support.
