Revitalization of a high-rise apartment building in Auckland CBD featuring a reclad upper floor deck, Kiwiana-inspired Silver Fern metal artwork, and energy-efficient solar-powered LED lighting for enhanced aesthetics and versatility.
In the City centre, this high-rise apartment building needed to revive its appearance.
The South façade faces the Skytower and therefore aesthetics is of importance. To increase the aesthetic value of the South Façade, we reclad the upper floor deck, designed Kiwiana up-lit Silver Fern metal artwork and up-lit the South face in 3 vertical rows to compliment the lighting of surrounding landmarks. These energy efficient LED lights powered entirely by solar-stored energy can be individually controlled, capable of transforming the building with lighting for special events or occasions.
