2025 was a busy year for Quantum. With the December opening of their new Auckland showroom and the introduction of their new stone collection, the team is thrilled to welcome the New Zealand design community into this exciting chapter.

The new showroom: a space for inspiration
Located in Newmarket’s architectural supplier hub at 21 Davis Crescent, the showroom neighbours Quantum’s industry peers and showcases the brand’s specialised range of high-end porcelain, stone, and cork tiles.
“This showroom is an important development for us as it supports Quantum’s direction and focus on high-end porcelain, stone, and cork tiles for the New Zealand market,” says Larry Harrison, Director and Business Development at Quantum.
“Whilst this is a substantial investment in a challenging economic time, it resets and cements our position in the Auckland architectural design community with the strategic location and expansive showcase of product.”
The space has been thoughtfully curated, featuring a large selection of displays and concepts that offer plenty of inspiration for designers and their clients. The showroom team is available to assist with product selection and provide guided walk-throughs of the entire Quantum range, as some collections are only available to view by appointment.
“Our team is hands-on and loves to be involved in the design process — their expertise is invaluable,” Larry explains. “We’ve taken care to create a showroom that has a warm, timeless feel, with a contemporary fit-out designed to appeal to a variety of tastes. Retaining a sense of space was important, but special effort has been made to create small moments of ‘wow’ and intrigue throughout the space, helping inspire creativity. Lighting also played an important role in the overall outcome, with multiple accents and features located throughout.”

A step into stone
“Our clients are seeking the understated and authentic beauty of natural stone for their projects, and, as stone fits perfectly into our high-end product portfolio, we felt it was the right time to introduce the range,” Larry explains.
Curated to cater to the needs of design professionals, the range is both timeless and relevant, with a primary selection of limestones and travertines that boast durability and elegance. More stones will be added as the range continues to expand — all available to view at the new Auckland showroom.
“Our stones are suitable for a variety of surfaces, so the design possibilities are endless. Limestones, such as our Galway and Biscoff collections, are hard-wearing, durable flooring options for a classic and timeless design in any property. If you’re looking for something versatile, our Arendo surface is a subtle, textured finish suitable for both interiors and exteriors,” Larry says.
For more ‘historical’ flooring finishes, the Chateaux collection features stones with a worn patina that appears to have been there for centuries — adding instant charm to any interior space. The Sparta travertine range has been handpicked for its timeless aura, with special formats, finishes, and various shades to suit a wide range of interior and exterior applications.
“We’re seeing a renewed appetite for the use of stone in high-quality designs and projects, which is exciting. Introducing stone into these spaces not only elevates the calibre of the design but also brings a unique and bespoke appeal, which many of our clients are looking for. Of course, not all aspects of these projects suit or justify stone materials; thankfully, the practical performance of quality porcelain is an ideal alternative. With our comprehensive porcelain range, we’re able to support clients with all their surface needs in one place, streamlining their product supply.”
The Quantum team is proud of its commitment to ‘make things happen’, offering expert advice and comprehensive support from day one. Every project — big or small — receives dedicated attention, and, thanks to their extensive global supplier network, agile and reliable material sourcing is guaranteed. With the addition of their new showroom, the team will be able to take this hands-on support to the next level.
