Wondering How to Source a Parkwood Door?

Aluminium

• Select Design.
• Select Thermal Performance – Strata (non-thermal) or Thermtek (thermally broken).
• Select Powder Coat Colour.
• Hinges or Hinge Packers? If hinges are not specifically asked for, hinge packers will be supplied automatically with the door, this packs the door edge out so a fast-fix hinge can be used to fit the doors.

For a Single Door Panel

• Provide panel dimensions – Parkwood recommend 5mm clearance on the hinge side and 5mm clearance on the lock side, 5mm clearance on the top and 7mm on the bottom depending on the seal/sill set up.
• Orientation – Viewed from the outside; Left hung or Right hung?

Rebated pair of doors

• Dimensions – Provide us with the overall dimensions from left door edge to right door edge (Parkwood recommend 5mm clearance on the hinge side and 5mm clearance on the lock side, 5mm clearance on the top and 7mm on the bottom depending on the seal/sill set up).
• Orientation – R/H open in, L/H open in, R/H open out, L/H open out.

Follow the instructions for a single or double set of doors but when specifying the dimensions please provide the required frame size. We will make the frame to your exact measurements and then make the doors to suit the frame.

• Parkwood Aluminium Doors are best to be machined in the factory to suit the hardware that is intended to be used.
• Parkwood have a range of hardware that we can machine and supply with the door however we have a large range of standard locks that we can machine the door for – so just specify the brand and model of the lock and we will machine accordingly.

• The exact external dimensions of the frame – allow sufficient clearance for it to fit into the opening.
