Hinged Door
The Commercial Series Hinged Door features a 50mm sill that can be rebated for “zero threshold” installation. The product’s heavy duty extrusions are assembled with stainless steel fixing plates to maintain the panel’s squareness and durability. Quality seals along the perimeter of the frame and panel ensure resistance against air and water infiltration for compliance with AS 2047 Windows and External Glazed Doors.
Frame only options allow a timber door panel to be fitted, where the frame can be coupled to other Commercial Series products with a 125mm product depth. Hinged Doors are glazed in accordance with AS 1288 Glass in Buildings and whilst a large range of options are available, all products are glazed with Grade A Safety Toughened Low-e Double Glazing (Argon Fill) as a standard specification. Commercial Series Hinged Doors are fitted with Austyle™ DDA Compliant or Tapered Lever architectural hardware, available in black, white and satin-brushed stainless steel. Products are powder coated in-house from a selection of 30 standard colours and textures, tested by the CSIRO for durability.

Hinged Doors can open inwards or out and be displayed as a single panel or French Door configuration, for ultimate customisation.

The Austyle™ DDA Compliant Handle with myLock Latch (pictured left) is compliant with AS1428 Design for Access and Mobility as an ideal assisted living solution, with a stainless steel body, a snib and key lock function.
The Austyle™ Tapered Handle with myLock Latch is an architectural lever with a stainless steel body, a snib and key lock function.
The Austyle™ 450mm D Handle (pictured left) features a bold, architectural, offset, tapered design. This option includes an adjustable spring tension roller catch with Austyle™ myLock system, (with snib), in a stainless steel body and cylinder-driven bolt.
The Austyle™ myLock Roller Catch is also available as a snib-only option, (pictured right) to allow for third-party custom handles.
Rylock offers the Austyle™ D Handle & Roller Catch hardware for the Commercial Series Hinged and French Door in white, black and satin-brushed stainless steel, with innovative designs and quality manufacturing, backed by a 20-year mechanical warranty.
Rylock offers a range of SecureGuard™ Security and Barrier Screen Door solutions for Open-In Hinged Doors*, fitted with Lockwood™ Hardware and available in white, black and silver (pictured left).
*Security and Barrier Screen Doors are not compatible with the Austyle™ 450mm D Handle hardware.
Austyle™ Stainless Steel Hinges are 150mm x 88mm x 3mm with 4 sealed bearings. These heavy-duty hinges allow the panel to rotate 180 degrees when the frame is aligned with the exterior of the building.
Available in black, white and satin-brushed stainless steel, they are also supplied with the Commercial Series Hinged Doors frame only option, which accommodates a timber door panel and is fitted with 4 or 5 hinges, (dependent on the product’s size).
The most vital aspect of correct function – is correct installation.
It is recommended that the manufacturer’s specification is always followed as improper installation can lead to air infiltration, moisture and poor overall performance.
