Textures Inspired by Nature.

Timbalook. The stress-free veneer alternative. Almost like the real deal, but better! Easier. Faster. More consistent.

Timbalook features a synchronised grain melamine surface - the texture and the picture match, for a realisitic look and feel. The doors are edged with Invisedge to create a virtually seamless edge.

With no lacquering or staining required, Timbalook is your ideal stress-free alternative to timber veneer, at a fraction of the price.

THE SURFACE

Timbalook has a thick layer of melamine on the surface, creating a deep, textured surface for a realistic, modern look and feel

The picture and the texture is synchronized to create a realistic wire-brushed look and feel.

Please note – the synchronized texture is on the face only. The back is a flatter woodgrain texture.

THE SUBSTRATE

Timbalook features EuroChip, a European chipboard – not to be confused with New Zealand Particle Board, EuroChip is much stronger.

THE EDGE

A matching MKT Alpha-Tape PP is used on the edge of the doors, creating a seamless edge.

No glue is involved – the edge is simply melted directly to the substrate.

THE SIZE

Timbalook comes in a large sheet size (2800×1830) for extra flexibility.

CLEANING

For normal cleaning, simply use a damp, soapy cloth, then dry with a towel to remove streaks.

Due to the deep, rutted nature of the product, a small brush may need to be used at times to clean off more stubborn marks.

HOW?
Our machinery. Our materials. Our men.

Our doors aren’t just any doors – they’re backed by our 3 ‘M’s - without these m’s, our doors wouldn’t be Sage Doors. They wouldn’t be be our trademarked brand names Acrygloss, Acrymatte, Invisedge, Timbalook, Lookcrete & Textaura.

They would just be doors.

We’ve travelled around the globe to find the highest quality materials. We’ve speced out our machinery to our requirements. We’ve made our own machinery that we couldn’t buy. When the door is closed, we open it… so that you don’t need to!
