All the technical stuff is what sets these doors apart, and why cabinetmakers keep coming back for more: the door profiles, edge profiles, variable width, profile customisation, and thickness options. Learn more below!

Our processes: Our 4 stage sanding process ensures your doors are sanded well. Your doors should arrive ready to send to your painter. The painter will undercoat, and then sand well before painting further. Sometimes there will be machine marks that don’t show on the raw product that show up once the undercoat has pulled up the grain, we have special tooling and our automated sanding process to avoid this as much as possible, but sometimes it is the nature of the board and unavoidable.

Styles: Optidoor profiles are available in a range of frame profiles and linear profiles.
We have wide frames, narrow frames, traditional frames & single depth frames to suit every frame need!
In our linear range, we have beads, scallops, v-grooves, waves and battens.

Edge Profiles: The edge profile plays into your overall design. In order to allow for endless options, you can choose from our edge profiles. Our most popular edge profile is 1.5mm radius – we would recommend this option for modern designs; however, if you’re after something more traditional, we’ve got you covered!

Please note: some edge profiles are not compatible with some door profiles due to physical limitations.

Door Thicknesses: Our most popular door thickness is 18mm; however, we also manufacture a lot of doors at 22mm.
22mm thick doors can be a great option to reduce bowing and give the door a little bit more support & space for your hinges.

If you have any questions, please contact us – we’re always happy to help & recommend what would be best suited for your particular project.

Note that narrow and/or deep frames are typically most prone to  bowing slightly. This is due to the physical nature of the board & cannot be fully avoided. We can help guide you through the process to choose your profile and door thickness and sizes best suited to your design.

Door sizes: Our 18mm profiles are available up to 3650mm long. Our 22mm option is available up to 2775mm long.

Flexipanel: Most of our linear profiles are available as as a Flexipanel, suitable for using on curves, to match your doors! These are suitable for a 200mm radius or larger.
