Annerley Small Commercial Project Our first small commercial project, 2 Stephens Street takes an old corner shop opposite Junction Park State School - historically an informal school tuckshop and afterschool hangout - and adapts the site to a new small commercial precinct serving the local community. Working with the Queenslander home and a Character Shop, we have designed an inviting, life-giving small precinct revolving around a central courtyard. This invites parents and community members to come in, take a moment to pause. We wanted to create a space of fun and interaction - a modern expression of the old corner shop or milk bar, where neighbours would gather and lives would intersect.
