Inherited from an aunt, cherished childhood memories saved this house from being demolished and replaced. Instead architect Judi Keith-Brown redesigned it to be a larger and more functional house for a family. Located on a steep site overlooking Lyall Bay, this 1930s house was stripped and dressed again in a wall wrap, a balanced ventilation system and accessorised with insulation throughout. The family of four are rapt with their larger, healthier, energy efficient home.
