One Tree Hill by O'Shea & Sons Builders

A Life Ready Home

2.4K profile views

One Tree Hill is a Hamptons Coastal home designed around accessibility, adaptability and the changing needs of family life. Its LifeReady features are thoughtfully integrated throughout, giving each family member greater freedom and independence without allowing functionality to define the home’s character. Home automation, considered material choices and flexible living spaces support the family today while allowing the home to adapt well into the future. For O’Shea & Sons Builders, the project demonstrates how inclusive design can be both practical and beautifully resolved.

White portico columns and fresh olive planting mark a welcoming entry into the home.

A single pendant and panelled door keep the entry classic Hamptons Coastal.

A long hallway opens onto a quiet sitting nook, with the pool terrace glowing beyond.

Festoon lights and open sliders turn the terrace into an extension of the home after dark.

A navy island anchors the kitchen, with cabinetry built floor to ceiling for storage.

The island opens directly onto living and alfresco, keeping the family connected while cooking.

Timber slats and a slim black rail bring a coastal lightness to the stair.

A lift beside the stair supports easy movement between levels for the whole family.

Scalloped wallpaper and marble give the powder room a soft, considered finish.

Louvre windows and subway tiles keep the bathroom bright and breezy.

On the upper level, the outlook stretches from treetops to the city skyline.

A window seat frames the skyline view — a quiet spot to pause along the hall.

Round black basins and marble give the main ensuite a considered, symmetrical finish.

Bench seating and generous doorways keep circulation easy throughout the upper level.

A simple, calm bedroom with plantation shutters filtering the afternoon light.

A skylight washes the stair landing, with art marking the turn to the next flight.

Keypad access and a considered lift placement keep accessibility built into the plan.

Black fittings against marble carry the home's material language into the powder room.

A plunge pool and timber-lined ceiling turn the courtyard into a private outdoor room.

Mature trees give the alfresco a leafy, private backdrop for entertaining.
