Rose Garden Origami is a garden pavilion carefully crafted to capitalize on the limited outdoor living space. The Pavilion connects a tranquil, north-facing rose garden and the living areas of a suburban townhouse.

The pavilion is created through the innovative use of white folded-metal sheets which were inspired by the art of Origami along with the classic suburban roof profile. This fully-modular system carefully funnels daylight and gives the space a hand-crafted feel, heightening the experience of the rose garden.  Its modular design also achieved excellent value for money for the client during construction. Unlike other shade structures which block out most of the light, this Pavilion instead seeks to capture the ever-changing nature of daylight. Its open nature creates a delightful play of light and shadow upon the deck and living room.
