Loxley Apartments

A coordinated aluminium solution combining balustrades, privacy screens, handrails and barriers across a 53-residence Takapuna apartment development. Located in Takapuna, Loxley Apartments is a boutique multi-residential development comprising two five-storey buildings and 53 freehold residences. Designed for contemporary apartment living, the project includes shared amenities, rooftop spaces, and multiple circulation areas requiring compliant and visually consistent balustrade and screening systems. UNEX Systems supplied over 500 lineal metres of aluminium solutions across the development, including internal stair balustrades, fin-style balustrades to decks and patios, frameless glass balustrades to rooftop areas, walkway balustrades, and heavy-duty car park barriers. The project also incorporated 3m-high vertical louvre screens between decks, along with gates, handrails, and fencing. With multiple applications across the two buildings, a coordinated approach was essential to maintain consistent detailing, quality, and installation efficiency. Working closely with the project team from an early stage ensured the systems were designed to meet New Zealand Building Code requirements across a range of applications and loading conditions. Fabricated and installed by UNEX Authorised Fabricator JK Glass & Aluminium, the completed installation delivers a cohesive, durable, and compliant solution throughout the development.
