The English Tapware Company introduces Samuel Heath to Australia, bringing more than 200 years of British craftsmanship into a new generation of local residential and commercial projects.

A significant new arrival has entered the Australian bathroom and kitchen design landscape. The English Tapware Company has introduced Samuel Heath tapware to the local market, with four collections re-engineered to meet Australian regulations while retaining the design language and craftsmanship the British manufacturer is known for.

Founded in Birmingham in 1820, Samuel Heath has spent more than two centuries refining brassware through a combination of traditional making, modern manufacturing and hand finishing. The Australian release adapts that legacy for contemporary specification, with lead-free brass construction and certification to WELS and WaterMark standards.

The first four collections span distinctly different design references. Landmark Pure interprets Bauhaus principles through clean lines and balanced proportions. Landmark Industrial introduces a more tactile expression through precisely machined knurled detailing, while Landmark Lathe explores linear reeding across levers, wheel handles and hardware. Fairfield, by contrast, draws on the Arts and Crafts movement, bringing a more decorative, historically informed character to the range.

That balance between heritage and contemporary use is central to Samuel Heath’s arrival in Australia. As Adam Daniels, Technical Director at Samuel Heath, says, “We take pride in creating beautiful products... that embody the quality and craftsmanship for which Samuel Heath is renowned.”

For The English Tapware Company, the launch expands the possibilities available to designers seeking fittings that sit comfortably within both restrained contemporary schemes and more character-rich interiors.
