Cape St is a multi-residential project for clients we have collaborated on multiple developments with. They came to us with a challenging site and a unique brief. With a fall of almost four meters across the site and a sensitive residential setting, the test was to achieve above-par amenity for each dwelling without creating shadow and bulk impacts.

Our solution was to prioritise deep soil access along all the boundaries whilst tucking the basement discreetly within the fall of the site. This allows mature landscaping to be prioritised and avoided boundary-to-boundary built form. Off-form concrete brings a contemporary, high-end feel to the detailing whilst recycled cream brick responds softly to the existing streetscape. We are eagerly looking forward to construction commencing soon.
