Corrugate Clad Lofty Plywood Addition banner

A compact 19th century cottage situated in a quiet historic steet in Mt Victoria. The clients' boys are getting older and need more space to spread out. The concept: add in some height + stretch the length. Modify the stair, mix it all up and build a new space below for relaxed living and a new kitchen. Okoume plywood lines the stair, kitchen and large bookshelf. Aqua hues to the kitchen and bathroom complete the look. Corrugate cladding forms angles to reflect the context and snatch the light. New aluminium joinery allows for easier access to the flowering garden. The old lady is double glazed, well insluated and painted fresh for the future.
