97 Sir James Fairfax Circuit epitomises modern luxury and achieved the highest sale price in Bowral’s exclusive Retford Park Estate when it was sold.

Our client was from a building background and this project was a real opportunity to work together, focusing on innovative design and premium finishes to deliver a truly outstanding result.

The clever use of mixed materials both internally and externally gives the building it’s character.  Recycled bricks and weatherboard work seamlessly outside while inside, spaces are strikingly contemporary and elegant.  Soaring ceilings and custom-made steel trusses give living areas a dramatic sense of space while the kitchen showcases the most impressive concrete island we’ve ever seen, all poured and finished on site.

97 Sir James Fairfax Circuit showcases a combined passion for building design and detailing that delivers a beautiful, functional and immensely liveable home.

We love the details on this build.  The wide engineered oak floorboards are on a timber batten and ply substrate meaning that all doorsills and thresholds finish at the exact same level. Windows are sashless and doors are concealed to create uninterrupted lines and maximise views.  The polished concrete bench tops in the kitchen, bathrooms and pantry bring cohesion and a bespoke feel throughout the house.

About the
Professional

Waratah Building was founded by Southern Highlands locals, Nick Marland and Jack Malavey on the principles of honesty, reliability, communication and trust. Their collaborative approach, work ethic and in-depth understanding of the local market has earned them a reputation for excellence in both craftsmanship and service.

Nick oversees the building process; his knowledge of construction and exacting standards underpin each project. He is progressive, solutions focussed and runs a team of tradespeople with the same dedication.

Construction project management is directed by Jack, whose focus is on clear communication, planning and budget – ensuring construction milestones are met and the project runs smoothly from commencement to completion.

As co-owners of Waratah Building, Jack and Nick are across all aspects of each project. Their professionalism, experience and investment in processes and construction management technology ensure client expectations are exceeded at every stage.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
