St James Close is a great example of the transformative effect that a simple, well-designed addition can deliver.  Our clients were looking to expand the footprint of their home to create additional living spaces, including a new kitchen, master suite and separate studio.

The goal was to produce a striking, contemporary addition in contrast to the existing brick house with internal spaces flowing seamlessly between old and new.  The project comprised two parts with the barn style pavilion addition and the studio almost complete before the remodelling of interior spaces began.  This made it possible for our clients to live on site throughout.

We love how the light filled addition has undeniably become the new heart of the house.  The large open plan spaces, high ceilings and custom finishes create the feeling of a brand-new home which is absolutely the objective of a project like this.  Additionally, bringing to life the stunning window seat in the master suite is a credit to the design and craftsmanship of our team.

The result showcases what can be achieved with a high-end home renovation. Existing interiors can be reshaped, and new spaces added to create a harmonious blend of old and new that is both beautiful as well as functional.
