This new home for actor Oliver Driver, his wife Ella and their two children was designed by the talented team at Ponting Fitzgerald Architects and was documented and published My New Home, in social media and in several national magazine publications.
The waterfront site in Te Atatu Peninsular had unique challenges due to the boggy ground conditions and very high water table, requiring 3.6m piles. The slick black form is clad in prefinished corrugate iron, a low maintenance selection and the structure was future-proofed for a second story master suite.
