A contemporary two-bedroom apartment in a 70’s block, expertly reconfigured by Jose Gutierrez Architecture, featuring modern finishes, enhanced connectivity to stunning views, and low maintenance living, completed in 2017.
A two-bedroom apartment in an iconic 70’s block in Herne Bay has been reconfigured by Jose Gutierrez Architecture into a fresh and modern two-bedroom pad for this client who is often working overseas or travelling.
Working within the building of 10 other households required abundant communication with the other inhabitant’s body corporate. Noise and dust had to be strictly controlled and minimized. New aluminium joinery was installed to better connect the refurbished balcony featuring Atlantic Stone and frameless glass to the stunning view. Oak floors, extensive built-in cabinetry, stone bathrooms and all new electrical and light fittings are just some of the updates that make this a special and low maintenance property on the water.
