We spoke to Porter's Paints to learn about the essential considerations when restoring heritage buildings with interior and exterior paint.
The Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne has used Porter's Paints Mineral Paint.
the premium silicate paint is made with inorganic pigments that are UV stable and, therefore, fade resistant.
Stone Paint 'Fine' and 'Coarse' were used to restore Queens Garden Court in Dunedin.
Working closely with Heritage New Zealand, the final palette for the St. James Theatre restoration consisted of soft pinks, velvety reds and pale greens, in a deliberate nod to the original 1912 scheme.
The restoration used Porter's Paints Eggshell Acrylic and speciality product, Dutchess Satin.
