Working smarter, not harder: Why you need a smart lock in multi-residential spaces

Smart locks are electronic devices constructed from innovative technology that allows mechanisms to be closed and opened using a smartphone, rather than a physical key. It provides users with an easy, user-friendly experience driven by an app, and often includes bonus features such as remote access, automatic timers and the ability to grant temporary access to visitors, such as cleaners, tradespeople or guests.

Some of the benefits of smart locks include being able to lock and unlock doors from your phone, the ability to assign individual passcodes to family members, and tracking who is walking through your door, and when. Furthermore, smart locks ensure there’s no more need for spare keys, or hiding keys under the doormat. Some smart locks can fuse seamlessly with existing home automation systems and smart devices, and offer an elevated level of safety and security for homes and multi-residential environments.
