As you scroll through different mood boards or flick through pages and pages of different magazines, you often come across a colour that stands out to you amongst the rest. Whether in the brick of a home's exterior or a green found in the trees of a home’s landscape, how do you find out what shade that is?
Introducing the Resene Colour Selector Tool, available on ArchiPro.
With a simple click of a button, The Colour Selector helps you curate your dream colour combination for your home, drawing shades from your favourite architectural projects. The tool also allows you to save up to eight colours in a palette, making sure you feel confident that they will work in harmony when they're on your walls.
Step One - Select your Project
With hundreds of incredible architectural projects available to explore on the ArchiPro website comes endless inspiration for homeowners designing their own interiorscapes. Simply look through projects that interest you, and find your favourite spaces that have colour palettes you’d like to integrate within your home.
Step Two - Build your Colour Palette
The Colour Selector Tool is already on your page and ready to use. Simply click on any shade that you love within the image, and a pop-up will appear, revealing Resene’s closest colour. This shade is then automatically added to your customisable Colour Palette along with its name. This palette will sit on your page as you explore different shades within your project or across multiple projects, allowing you to see whether your chosen colours work together or whether you want to keep exploring.
Step Three - Design your Moodboard
You’ve found your favourite shade, and they look amazing together—now what? Hit the ‘Save Palette’ button, and this will turn your Colour Palette into a design board stashed in your ArchiPro profile, ready to be revisited, pondered over and perfected. If you’re tossing up between two different aesthetics (moody or minimal?) you can save multiple palettes in here as well, letting you sleep on it and see which one sticks.
Step Four - Order your Testpots
Once you’ve curated your Colour Palette(s), ordering your tesposts is as easy as finding the shades themselves. Simply select ‘Get Sample’ on your desired colours, and this will automatically add it to your ArchiPro shopping cart, ready to checkout.
