Convenient and minimalist

Since 1947, Australian brand Zip Water has become a world-leading designer and manufacturer of instant boiling, chilled and sparkling filtered water solutions found in workplaces and homes around the world. Zip Water's innovative designs and local New South Wales manufacturing enhance water quality, functionality, energy efficiency and aesthetic appeal in kitchens globally.

The launch of the HydroTap Celsius Plus All-In-One Pull-Out answers the homeowner's desire for versatility, functionality and clutter-free countertops, thanks to its singular design replacing the need for multiple taps and appliances.

"The modern kitchen is more than the heart of the home; it's a multifunctional space used by every member of the family," says Mike Abbott, Managing Director of Zip Water (Australia/New Zealand).

"We know our consumers love the convenience of boiling and chilled water in an instant and the premium sparkling water experience of a HydroTap," adds Abbott.

Zip Water's customer insights inspired the creation of HydroTap Celsius Plus All-In-One Pull-Out with its ingenious under-bench compact hose management system that ensures the tap hose retracts without snagging.

"With the HydroTap Celsius Plus All-In-One Pull-Out, we've gone back to uncover more consumer insights to see what additional solutions we can offer – and in this case, it's the guarantee of a snag-proof pull-out sprayer – a significant consumer pain point when it comes to pull-out sprayers," says Mike.

This innovative design feature effortlessly reaches all corners of the sink before gliding back into place when finished; ideal for preparing food, washing dishes or cleaning the sink before bed.

Sustainable hydration

Recent survey-based research suggests that the majority of homeowners with a Zip HydroTap installed drink more water than before installation. Combining this with the increased desire amongst consumers for eco-friendly solutions, HydroTaps offers a sustainable water solution within the home or office.

The instant filtered, chilled and sparkling water on tap reduces the requirement for purchasing bottled filtered and sparkling water, and the product itself is also manufactured with sustainability and energy efficiency in mind.

Developed in collaboration with sustainability consulting company Thinkstep-anz, Zip Water released an internationally recognised and independently verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for its HydroTap products, representing the first EPD for an electrical product in Australasia. The declaration shows the entire lifecycle of a HydroTap is meticulously considered, with the EPD further detailing the product's environmental impact from production and processing of raw materials to manufacturing, distribution, installation, ongoing operation, maintenance and filter changes.
