Introducing Forma: A new language for decorative tile

Rather than presenting the range through traditional product displays, the launch focused on materiality and interaction. Guests were invited to explore Forma's six interchangeable tile designs across a curated palette of earthy neutrals, chalky whites, mineral greys, warm browns, terracotta and heritage greens. Displayed as a modular system, the collection demonstrated how different patterns, colours and layouts could be layered to create subtle variation or bold visual expression.

The evening also reflected the collaborative process behind the collection itself. Developed closely by the teams at Perini Tiles and Kate Nixon, the launch celebrated not only the finished product but the design thinking that informed it. Every detail of the event reinforced Forma's emphasis on craftsmanship, material honesty and thoughtful composition.

At its core, Forma has been conceived as a flexible design toolkit. Rather than prescribing a single aesthetic, the collection gives architects and interior designers the freedom to experiment with repetition, contrast and transition across a wide variety of spaces. For homeowners, the same modular approach offers a way to introduce handcrafted character and enduring materiality into everyday interiors.

As decorative surfaces continue to play a greater role in defining atmosphere, collections such as Forma highlight a broader shift towards adaptable materials that can evolve across different project types without losing their identity.
