“The aim was to create a resort-style home that felt warm, inviting and connected to its outdoor surroundings. Natural materials played a big role in achieving that vision and Latte Travertine was the perfect choice,” shares Franqui.

“We also love the feel of travertine underfoot. It brings a level of warmth and authenticity that is difficult to replicate with other materials.”

“For this particular project, we did not seriously consider alternative stone options. We have used travertine on previous projects and have always been impressed with the result. In our experience, nothing quite compares to the look, feel and timeless appeal of natural travertine, making it an easy choice for this home,” adds Franqui. 

This familiarity with the material streamlined the entire process, with an experienced tiler with extensive knowledge of natural stone ensuring each portion was laid with precison and care, making for an uncomplicated installation.
