Explore the look: Tessellated Tile Factory by Tom Mark Henry

Apply these decorative techniques to your own home or project to recreate your favourite elements of Tessellated Tile Factory.

Green marble benchtops are teamed with white mosaic tiles and tactile rendered walls in the Tessellated Tile Factory, a design approach that feels fresh, uncluttered and minimal – but never clinical. To establish the same sense of curated refinement in your own home, use a variety of hard surfaces in your design scheme, ensuring one acts as the hero feature and the others as complementary sidekicks.

While using different shades of one colour to decorate an entire space seems like a dramatic design choice, it can feel effortless and serene when executed correctly. The key is to opt for hues that are calming and reflect light; try barely-there shades of blue, green or grey.

Achieve visual consistency by repeating shapes across architecture, furniture and textiles. For example, the Tom Mark Henry design team arranged a round table on top of a round rug and surrounded it with round chairs – an effect that echoes the rounded doorways and recesses of the interior architecture.
